Like a human heart your Turbo, is highly dependent on the systems around it. Keeping those systems fit and free from contamination will ensure the turbo performs at its best and lives longer.
Making sure your car is regularly serviced will help to prevent issues.

– A Pass will be categorised into Minor, Advisory or Pass with no Advisories
The MOT Certificate will change to the new style to list the new types of defects, so they’re clear and easy to understand.
Any smoke from the exhaust will constitute a failure IF the vehicle has a Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF)
Daytime running lights will be checked on vehicles registered from March 2018.
Other additions include: under inflated tyres, contaminated brake fluid, fluid leaks posing environmental risk, reversing lights on vehicles, brake pad warning lights and if brake pads or discs are missing and headlight washers on vehicles post Sep 2009 (if fitted).
Previously vehicles registered pre 1960 were exempt from MOT, this will now change to vehicles 40 years after the date of first registration (40 years old) will be exempt.
