Back then, most vehicles had relatively simple electronic systems primarily focused on engine management and basic comfort features. The average car contained roughly 20 electronic control units (ECUs). Fast forward to today, and modern vehicles can house over 100 ECUs, managing everything from advanced driver assistance systems to sophisticated entertainment interfaces. When we first started servicing vehicles, diagnostic tools were relatively straightforward, mainly dealing with engine management systems. Today, our technicians work with complex networks of sensors, advanced key programming systems, and sophisticated software that requires regular updates. The evolution from simple central locking to keyless entry systems, from basic engine management to intelligent power delivery systems, and from manual windows to fully integrated comfort control systems represents just how far vehicle electronics have come. This transformation has required continuous investment in diagnostic equipment and technical training, ensuring we stay ahead of the curve in serving our customers' increasingly complex vehicle needs.
